BoG gets a Deputy Governor

GOIL reduces diesel price

Ghana Oil Company limited [GOIL], has for the second time in a month, reviewed downward the price of diesel at the pump in a move geared at giving customers competitive price on the market.

The Poultry Farmers Association of Ghana has confirmed that some birds at a poultry farm in New Takoradi, a suburb of Tarkwa in the Western Region, have been affected with the avian influenza (bird flu).

Sixty-two entities have expressed interest in taking over the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as the country opens the doors of the company to private sector participation (PSP).

Government is putting measures in place to ensure electricity consumers who were overbilled by providers are refunded,  Deputy Power Minister, John Jinapor has assured.
