Aspiring Member of Parliament for Effutu, Eric Don-Arthur, in collaboration with the Municipal Chief Executive in the area has donated a total of 1,285 mathematical sets to final year pupils in 10 junior high schools.

The mathematical sets are to help the students who are preparing for their Basic Education Certificate Examination to pass their exams without any impediment, Mr Don-Arthur said at the presentation ceremony.

He has promised to award scholarship to the four  pupils who would emerge as the best in the exams in each of the schools.

Mr Don-Arthur has therefore urged the pupils not to be anxious but remain calm and study their books in preparation for the exams. He told the pupils it is important to understand the exams questions properly before they answer them.

Receiving the mathematics sets on behalf of the pupils, Headmistress of Essuakyir D/C JHS Madam Doris Ameyenku expressed appreciation to Mr Don-Arthur  who is contesting the election on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.

She described the gesture as kind, noting it will contribute significantly  to the performance of the final year pupils.
