Esi, who represented the Central Region in the Season IX of the reality show [2015], beat four other finalists to wear the covetous crown, which gives her a responsibility to impact on her society through an initiative of her choice
The foundation, PEMPAMSIE has the primary aim of curbing and eradicating the high rate of teenage pregnancy in the Central Region through various programmes to be spearheaded by Esi with support from various stakeholders.
Esi's Pempamsie is being formed on the principles of the new Sustainable Development Goal 5, which seeks to achieve gender equality. The foundation seeks to prepare young girls to take up formal leadership roles. Young girls and the youth would also be empowered through vocational training and mentorship programmes as well as scholarships.
The launch is scheduled to take place at the Pempamsie Hotel in Cape Coast 6:00pm. The ceremony is expected to be characterised by cultural display from the Cape Coast Centre for National Culture and school children.
Eshun who was known as Ethel of TV3 Mentor fame, is also billed to perform with a live band.
Ahead of the launch, she has asked the people in the Region especially to support her to enable the foundation achieve the goals set for itself in helping the people of the Region which has one of the highest rate of teenage pregnancy.

She was hopeful the problem of teenage pregnancy would be reduced in the country, especially the Central Region through the Pempamsie Foundation.
Esi was full of praise for TV3 Network Ghana Limited, its affiliate media houses and their mother company, the Media General Group, for the opportunities given her thus far in her reign.
