Former President Jerry John Rawlings’ arrival at the NDP congress at the Trade Fair Centre on Saturday was met with chants of joy by the NDP delegates.
The former president was there to support his wife Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings who was endorsed as the party’s presidential candidate. Though he did not stay throughout the program, he did not leave without giving his wife a peg to the admiration of the crowd.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." - Muhammed Ali
