Abbey, Pappoe out of GFA ex-co race

Randy Abbey and Fred Pappoe will not be on the next executive committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after they opted against re-elections in polls due later for this month.

Ghana maintained its 27th position in the latest Fifa rankings. The top three slots are occupied by Argentina at the number one spot, followed by Belgium and 2014 World Cup winners Germany.

Black Stars storm Rwanda

Ghana’s legendary football icon who led Ghana to secure her first ever Africa Nations cup Charles Kumi Gyamfi aka C.K Gyamfi has died aged 86.

The GFA Disciplinary Committee has upheld Accra Hearts of Oak’s protest against Asante Kotoko in respect of the eligibility of Obed Owusu in their Match Day 25 Premier League game played on August 2, 2015.
