Black Stars 'B' hold final training session before Japan friendly

The Black Stars ‘B’ held a final training session on Tuesday ahead of their international friendly against Japan’s Olympic team on Wednesday.

The home-based senior national team are currently in Japan preparing for tomorrow’s game which is to raise funds for victims of Kumamoto earthquake disaster that occurred earlier this year.

Black Stars ‘B’ coach Maxwell Konadu who travelled with the team over the weekend will receive technical support from Coach of the ‘A’ senior national team Avram Grant, who joined the team in Japan on Monday.

The Israeli trainer will be part of the technical team for the match set to be played at the Best Amenity Stadium in Saga.

Winner of the friendly match will receive the MS&AD Cup with the proceeds from the game to be donated to victims of the earthquakes.
