The Guinness Ghana-sponsored two-hour programme features three national sports icons namely 1992 Olympic Games Bronze medalist, Nii Odartey Lamptey, Patrick Yaw Obeng (2015 All Africa Games double silver medalist) and taekwondo sportsman Terrance Tetteh Asare, who will share their career and life experiences with the students.
In addition to that, the Director of Sports at the University of Ghana Legon (UG), Dr. Bella Bello Bitugu, will bring his rich experience to bear on the programme by educating the students about UG’s sports policy and career paths for sportsmen/women.
Consistent with its aim of promoting the spirit of Olympism among students, there will be separate presentations by the Brazil and Japan Embassies on the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
