The movie which had already stirred up controversies all over the country was said to have been crafted around the seemingly challenging life of Agya Koo now who had a problem with the producer although the producer vehemently opposed and stated otherwise.
However, recent developments gathered by www.nydjlive.com indicates that a section of movie stakeholders in the Ashanti Region met over the weekend in Kumasi and have opted to buy the movie and pay out the entire cost of production so as to prevent it from being released.
In an interview with the producer, he disclosed although the movie was not to taint the image of Agya Koo as discussed by people or directed at Agya Koo, he had no reason to decline the proposal brought forward by the stakeholders as they were great people he respected.
In a related news, fast rising comic actor Justice Hymn known as ‘Mmebusem’ who starred in the movie “Agya Awieye” has lashed at the producer and registered his displeasure at the new development in what he calls an attempt to kill his shine as he believes the movie was his best shot to introduce him to the Ghanaian public which could have gathered him a following.
